o Sterile wound care
o Treatment of pressure sores or exfoliative dermatitis
o Facility is no longer able to meet resident’s needs
o Non-ambulatory (applies to residential living facility)
· Exceptions to disqualifying eviction conditions
o Can accommodate residents who need nursing facility care if resident consents in writing and is approved by licensed physician
What training is required for direct care staff?
· Training on a quarterly basis on topics related to the residents living at the facility
Is nurse staffing required?
· Personal Care Home, Residential Living
o Licensed nurse or physician must be present to supervise scheduled drug administration
· Personal Care Home, Assisted Living
o Requires a licensed nurse to be on the premises for eight hours per day
o A licensed nurse must be present to administer prescription medication
Is any public payment available?
· Medicaid coverage not available
· The State of Mississippi has a waiver for services in personal care homes
